When cognac brand Rémy Martin teamed up with confectionery brand Anthon Berg, to create a new luxury handmade fudge, Pelican’s food PR team was picked to help launch the premium product.
Solution
We used a combination of media relations and sampling activity to make sure this new fudge was seen – and bought – by as many people as possible in the run-up to Christmas.
High quality product photography and our renowned media relations skills were used to show the product to journalists on leading food and women’s magazines as well as newspaper food supplements. We then used a carefully targeted sampling campaign and free product offers to ensure that Christmas shoppers saw and tasted the fudge while they were out hunting for gifts.
Brilliant Results
The campaign ensured the fudge was positioned as the perfect Christmas treat and gift in places like The Observer Food Monthly, The Independent Magazine, My Weekly and Love It! The sampling activity ensured that as many people as possible tried the product and that stocks flew off the shelves in time for Christmas.
