As part of our campaign to promote the world’s first waterproof and breathable football sock, our outdoor PR team recommended that SealSkinz Sport become the headline sponsor for the Swamp Soccer World Championships.
Solution
We set about promoting the event to national and regional press with an extensive media relations programme promoting the sponsorship and the teams taking part. In the build-up to the event, national sports journalists were contacted about the off-beat contest and given information on the socks.

The sponsorship was a great success with extensive branding for SealSkinz Sport and opportunities for players to test the sock. By promoting the quirky nature of SealSkinz Swamp Soccer our campaign caught the imagination of TV and radio journalists and led to coverage on Sky Sports and Talk Sport.
